Shahal M. Khan is the Founder and Chairman of Burkhan World, a diversified holding platform focused on AI infrastructure, edge technologies, and critical industries.
Over 30 years he has invested and operated across telecommunications, real estate, energy, natural resources, AI, cybersecurity, agriculture, and food security.
He previously served as Chairman and CEO of Burtech Acquisition Corp, which merged with AI semiconductor company Blaize in a transaction valued at 954 million USD. The combined company listed on Nasdaq as BZAI in January 2025.
He founded the Shahal M. Khan Institute of Cybersecurity and Economics at American University with a 5 million USD pledge to advance research and education.
